I was lucky enough to meet Dr. Gemma Morera at CAPI, where she worked. She quickly identified that my 9-month-old son, with a milk protein allergy, would be prone to developing other allergies and/or asthma. And so it has been. It hasn't been an easy path, as my child had different results on prick allergy tests and others in the analytics. She immediately saw that the problem was that she had Immunoglobulin levels different from those that normally make allergic reactions. And thanks to this, when deciding on immunotherapy, we were able to make a special vaccine for him and his Ig levels. We also have a little girl who suffered bronchitis as a child and ended up being admitted to Sant Joan de Deu Hospital with pneumonia. After this emergency we decided to change pediatrician and swicthed to Dr. Morera's practice. With the girl, Dr. Morera always told me that she had a different lung than my son's, so it has been. She has not developed any allergies or asthma. I was stunned by how Dr. Morera identifies the children right away. She really cares about them, and she wants them to have a better quality of life. She does not rest until she finds a way to help each child in each case. We are very happy with the personalized treatment that Dr. Morera gives us, she is very close, sincere, very empathetic with children, and with parents. You can really tell she loves what she does. We always recommend her and will always recommend her. We feel very safe in her hands, and we are very grateful to her for how she take care of our family.
