My name is Marta Andreu and I am a Psychologist since 2005.
When I started to study psychology, there was a phrase by Carl G. Jung that captivated me: “I know all the theories, I master all the techniques, but when touching a human soul it is just another human soul”
From this moment, it was when I decided to specialize in aspects that directly affect this soul.
At the child level, knowing that more and more children are experiencing school difficulties along with what this implies in terms of lack of self-esteem and self-confidence, insecurity, anguish … I decided to specialize in learning and learning disorders behavior to offer both children and family members and teachers tools that help us minimize these difficulties and transform them into opportunities.
All children have a potential, it is necessary to know it and from there to optimize the cognitive functions to the maximum.
At the level of adolescents and adults I specialized in two areas that are often presented together:
Mood disorders: depression, anxiety attacks, fears, insecurities, discouragement, apathy, disappointment about things … In all these situations do a cognitive work that allows us to know our thoughts as well as a relaxation work to know Our body and sensations will be of great help.
Training and work orientation: there are many people, adolescents and adults, who show ignorance of themselves about their potential to focus studies or work successfully. Others, who have recently lost a job and feel a sense of loss about how to recover a situation … In all these cases an orientation on what to do, how to do it, where to focus efforts … can open a path for us.
Following the phrase with which I have opened these words, I give you five cents of my curriculum keeping in mind but, that the main knowledge that I have acquired is to attend and understand people from empathy.
